The start of spring

Thank you so much for all your wonderful kind messages, they all meant so much and have really helped. Michael is improving every day and we now have a routine of two walks a day along the beach at a slow pace. He has to have six months of chemotherapy and we don't know as yet exactly how tough that will be but hopefully in the next three weeks he will regain more strength and be ready to fight the next battle! Spring is well and truly here in Sydney and is putting on a beautiful show for us, each day I really appreciate the wonderful surroundings. I am also doing picture everyday, I love the fact that so many lovely familiar faces are there too and it is a great way to really look at everything everyday in a different light.

  3. you are so beautiful and courageous. Everything will work out for you . taking photos each day helps to stay in the present ... something all of us going through cancer have to learn this ... live in the present !!! I truly believe this with all my heart .
one of the many things we did when my son had cancer we would visualise him happy, well and healthy and keep our eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel .. it did help enormously . keep going keep going , your love will see you through this time .... the pics are beautiful by the way ... love and hugz to you and your family xoxo

  5. I wish I could help in some way but I am across the ocean so being physical is not an option but I can do something better and that is keep your hubby in prayer. Praying for strength for the both of you and the healing will be swift. Find comfort in the Lord for he will give you peace in times of difficulty.

YOUR spring photos are lovely, I can feel the warmth of the sun on my back. We are in the early stages of Fall so its rather cool here. I will enjoy our spring and summer photos till our seasons change.

GOD bless and keep you all safe and strong in faith.

  6. Justine I am so happy to hear the update of you and your husband and that things are progressing. It must help having so many new and beautiful things to see and beautiful weather to enjoy. Your images are so different from your beloved London which I loved but each place has it's own beauty doesn't it. So many of the plants that grow in Australia grow in CA. so I know you are in for a treat. As a plant lover I can't wait to feast my eyes on your new finds on your walks. Keep the faith, enjoy your new place, gain strength both of you, soak up that sun and beauty and let us enjoy it also through your gorgeous photos. I hope that furniture arrives soon.

  10. So glad to hear about the progress. The process of healing always tries our patience, we want to rush it, but it is like so many other things in life ... it can't be rushed. Thinking of and praying for you every day. Thanks for the update.

  14. So glad for your update and to how you all are adjusting. And also so happy to be able to watch spring come to your part of the world as fall comes to mine. Sometimes I'm still pretty amazed by this whole internet thing- the ability to 'know' so many people from so many places!
