A month of Watsons Bay

Another month has gone by so quickly and I spent the last month taking photos of where I live in Sydney, it's in a suburb called Watsons Bay close to the entrance to Sydney Harbour. Living here is so wonderful as there is actually no where else to go, our road stops at South Head and then you are out to sea and next stop New Zealand. Watsons Bay is very quiet after about 5pm and before 10am which is when the ferries stop and begin again. I love the peace and quiet at this time and it reminds me of a sleepy cornish fishing village. I didn't manage to take a photo every day for the month but you can get the general idea. I am about to embark on a month of food so if anyone cares to join me, let me know. I thought it would be more about ingredients etc rather than just endless plates of food, a chance to experiment. We could also set up a flickr page...let me know if you are interested.

  1. Justine, that looks and sounds like a wonderful place to live. Quiet, peaceful, and close to the sea...it doesn't get much better than that as far as I'm concerned. Lovely photos! The last one is especially intriguing, with the dramatic cliffs and stone wall and stairs rising out of the sea.
