Street photography

Last week Leanne and I went into town and decided to do a bit of street photography for our blog - two takes -  It was fun experimenting with looking up, looking down and doing a bit of secretive pointing the camera at subjects then looking away. I took a couple of pictures of the girls on the stairs without them noticing and we had fun getting a little bit out of our comfort zone. Do have a look at two takes for our collage.

  1. This made me smile as your approach to street photography seems much like mine...try to sneak shots and hope the subject doesn't notice! I love the contrast between old and new in the first photo above. I wonder if visual attractiveness was a consideration of whoever designed that modern high-rise tower. I don't find it appealing to the eye, but maybe that's just me.

  2. Well, teaming up does make it easier when it comes to street photography... I tried my hand at it a few times, but people just tend to look right back at me... :D

    Nice clicks Justine... :)

  3. Great work! Street photography still scares me.

  4. I look down quite a bit, but I always seem to forget to look up! :-)
You have inspired me to try to do more of that.
    These are wonderful photographs, Justine.
    Have a fantastic weekend!

  5. Yay for having gotten out of your comfort zone! Your shots look awesome! You did a great job. :)

    With Love,

  6. The perspective of the photographs
    are just amazing
