It's macro monday again, each week seems to go by so quickly. I took this picture yesterday of one of the wild poppies that had appeared in my garden over the summer. I find that the last days of nature are just as beautiful as that first bud.

I agree - dried/dead flowers are as lovely as when just fresh. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, quiet after summer colors...this looks like it could be a wooden newel post cap, turned on a wooden lathe. I love the angle you chose; makes me see things a different way. Perhaps it is a septor with a crown? Great shot.
