Lockdown

Its lockdown here again in Sydney and not much is happening. It's hard to get motivated but I am continuing to do my photo a day which I have done now for so many years I have lost count! I am on day 293 of the latest 365 and thought I would show you some pictures I have taken in the last month. What projects are you working on at the moment?

Its winter here so the sun is low on the water.
It's too cold to swim even though the colours are so inviting.
Winter calls for seville orange marmalade making
and vegetable soup with home made bread.

The weekend

Weeks seem to be flying by at the moment, the clocks change this weekend and then it will slowly and gently roll into Summer.

A week in my neighbourhood

I have been taking shots of the area I live in all week, part of a weekly series I have decided to do. Next week I am doing a week of black and white, does anyone want to join me?

Postcards from the sea

The tourists have disappeared and some days it feels like I am the only person around. The temperature is perfect so I like to sit and watch the waves and let everything else take second place.

Sunsets and boats

We are very lucky to live a short stroll from the water. I love to watch the sunset and the fishermen.

February

February here in Sydney is still very much about blue skies and water, summer is drawing to a close and I will really miss it, hopefully it will stay around a little bit longer.

Happy Australia Day!

Today is Australia Day, time to get out the flags and cheer for all things Aussie! today at our local beach they had the 'man and dog' paddle board races, it was a brilliant way to celebrate and spend the morning despite the grey clouds.
