Hello Yellow

Oh my goodness, can you believe it's December tomorrow? I am trying to do some Christmas shopping and get myself ready for the English weather again as we head off there for three weeks. It's so sunny and hot here and hard to think of snow and dark afternoons and continuing the theme of sun and warmth today is all about colour! don't you love this wonderful tea cosy? I do wish I could knit.

To market, to market

I do love Bondi markets on a Saturday morning, so much colour and food and wonderful aromas. I walk around thinking how I should eat more seeds, vegetables, drink chai, do you drink chai? I had chai porridge the other day which was so good.
lots of delicious food to taste
There is a chai tent too

They even have a dog park
 Freshly squeezed lemonade

 Fresh noodles
The flowers I bought

A week of colour

This week was all about colour and even though it is winter here in Sydney colour is easy to find. Did you do it too? did you find colour?
I love this yellow house, I pass it most days and always wonder what happy person lives there.
These girls were out at Bondi beach where there is always so much colour, hard to believe it's winter
A glimpse of the beach through green

more lemons from my tree, does anyone have a good recipe for lemon curd?

At the market

Don't you just love markets? I have recently discovered the food markets at Bondi every saturday, so many colours and delicious food plus you get to walk along the beach afterwards.

A week of flowers

Summer here in Sydney is all about colour and the best place to find it is in the flowers.
I have white in my garden

Red, yellow and green down the street

and I bought pink today

I hope your weekend is full of pretty colours

More lomography

When I spent the day at a lomography workshop recently I took some black and white film shots like the one above but I also got to play with the Diana camera and took some colour film. It is like a toy camera, so light and easy to take streets shots etc because it doesn't really look real. I quite like this one, it gives you a feel of a cold rainy London day.
I am also linking up to Lisa's fantastic creative exchange, do have a look.
